D&A boxing school of excellence

D&A Boxing School of Excellence opened its doors in 2006 with the vision of helping local youth from the South Birmingham area.

With the lack of facilities available to young people in the area, local youth were bored and left with nothing to do. This lead to some becoming involved in crime and antisocial behaviour, which has a huge impact on our society.

Social inclusion through sports participation is considered to be an avenue for improving social connection opportunities for marginalised groups such as young people. So with Anthony extensive knowledge of boxing, they used their combined skills and knowledge and decided to open a gym to provide the local youth with a safe environment to train in.
